St. Pauls with Emmanuel Church, Bolton

The present Churchwardens are Piers Hardy and David Maginn.

We have a Shared Leadership Team which was licensed on 18 September 2005 by the Bishop of Bolton. Its responsibilities are:

To continue to seek a long term vision for the life of St. Paul with Emmanuel.
To consider ways in which we might best meet the requirements of our Mission Statement.
To offer pastoral and practical support for all those in leadership within the church.
To help staff members to prioritise their activities.
To identify and assist in the development of the ministries of church members.
To handle matters of church discipline as they arise.
To identify pastoral problems and seek sensitive ways of resolving them with reference to others who have responsibility for pastoral care.
The Team will refer to the PCC for decision any items regarding the policy and finances of the church, together with all items falling within the proper sphere and responsibility of the PCC.
